People seek Western Herbalist services either for help with a disorder or as a way to strengthen their constitution. As an herbal practitioner, I approach people and plants with an idea of wholeness. After taking a detailed history, I utilize my knowledge of constitutional theory, body systems, pulse/tongue diagnosis, and client input to determine which herbs will support the body best. In treating the person, not the disease, I am interested not only in your physical well-being, but also your mental well-being.
In session, clients fill out a detailed questionnaire. I may take blood pressure, look at your tongue, ask to feel your pulse, or look at an inflicted area. The session is mostly conversational. I will mix up a formula to address the underlying imbalance. In addition to herbal tonics, I give nutritional information, suggestions on lifestyle changes and emotional support.
The initial intake takes about 2 hours and costs $150.00. Any follow up appointment will be 1 hour in length and cost $75.00. The cost per fluid ounce of tincture is $10.00 and $3.00 oz for tea. Herbal extracts are made in my office, with 100% organic ingredients and purified water. I am available to do in-person OR phone consultations.
